Welcome to the last wild river in Europe!
White Lech, mature Lech, wild Lech - over three life stages and in five stages, the Lechradweg leads you through landscapes as different as can be over 244.6 kilometers. On this journey of life, the wild river is not only a companion but each day anew a creator: On its banks it becomes visible how it shapes nature and has created the most diverse habitats. To make them experienceable by bike, four regions have joined forces: The route leads upstream from the mouth near Marxheim in Bavarian Swabia via the Pfaffenwinkel to the Allgäu and through the Reutte Nature Park region to the Lech valley. Left and right of the path, there are many exciting stories about the Lech, small villages and historic towns, natural phenomena, and sights to discover. We wish you a wonderful (life) journey full of inspiring moments on the "Lechradweg - Follow the river of life"!
