Cesare, the moon... and the vineyards
A journey that takes us to the discovery of Cesare Pavese, with his birthplace and the Foundation dedicated to him. The vineyards accompany us on this pedal ride full of beauties.
Our route starts from the central square of Santo Stefano Belbo; every fourth Sunday of the month it becomes the venue of a charming and rich antiques market.
After a few hundred meters, you encounter the Cesare Pavese Foundation, also home to the museum which includes an interactive installation and a series of video projections related to the private and professional life of Cesare Pavese.
A stop at his birthplace and Nuto's house, then ascending towards Bric Crevacuore; here, besides the memory pole, we find ourselves immersed in wild cherry trees and hazelnut groves that offer us a unique peace and tranquility.
Passing through Calosso, continue towards Castiglione Tinella, where the beautiful Church of Sant'Andrea and the Tourist Information point allow us to immerse ourselves in local life. A final stretch towards the Sanctuary of Madonna della Neve, on the suggestive hill of Moncucco, then return to the starting point.
