From the Weser to the Elbe.
The Aller cycle path offers peaceful excursions along the largest tributary of the Weser, through preserved nature. About 330 kilometers long, it serves top museums.
The route, mostly car-free and flat terrain, follows the Aller from its confluence with the Weser to its source, or leads to Hohenwarthe near Magdeburg towards the Elbe. Along the way, there are many discoveries: Verden, a city of equestrianism, is famous for its horse shows and equestrian fairs. The residence city of Celle charms with its historic center and about 500 half-timbered houses.
Wolfsburg offers opportunities to learn and be amazed with the Autostadt and the "phaeno" experiment museum, while the Ilkerbruch nature reserve is a paradise for nature lovers with its many rare bird species.
