Tour with Wassermann I on August 13, 2020

Beautiful tour - with the slightly delayed entry after Colmar, you can enjoy the most scenic part of this tour. We deliberately set our start time after 1 p.m. This way, we only encounter the day guests of the canoe rental in the last third... We paddled with a Hobie kayak with fin drive and I was accompanied by two of my children. For the season, we had enough water under the keel. The water level was about 10 cm higher because there was a heavy thunderstorm in the Vosges the day before. Only at about 20 spots did the pedal drive under the boat have to be lifted and gentle gliding was necessary. The most exciting part of the tour comes right at the end... anyone who wants can master the whitewater passage of the local kayak club as a grand finale. For this, however, I dismantled the Mirage drive and steered the boat manually.
