The Brunnwasser river is super great to navigate and very clear! It takes you through a nature reserve and you can really enjoy it. At two points, there are low wooden bridges for walking paths that require boats to be carried around at these spots. Unfortunately, getting out and back into the boat is not optimally solved for a single person here. But with a bit more pulling power over the rough stones, the boat still moves... The entry is well signposted in the town of Rhinau at the local canoe club and equipped with perfect parking facilities. Because the river generates a lot of plant growth due to its very good water quality, on about 50% of the route, the fin drive can only be used in small mode. Often the hand paddle must also be used... especially when passing fallen trees in the stream bed, some maneuvering and skill are required. But even the kids had a great time. At the end, you can also navigate under the federal road; but pay special attention to the current water level and flow speed. Right after passing under the federal road, you will find a proper place to exit on the left side. If the situation becomes too risky, you should perform a quick landing maneuver on the left side before passing under the federal road and maybe have a person ready at the shore to secure the boat with a rope.
