The start of the loop marked with purple direction signs is the hiking and route starting point in Annenheim. After crossing the federal road, the ascending Sonnenweg and Panoramaweg merge at a resting area with a view of the Bergstraße. Shortly after km 1.0, you turn right and follow the signs over varied surface types and short forest sections towards Sattendorf. Along the way, wonderful views of Lake Ossiach and the Ossiacher Tauern open up repeatedly. Upon reaching Sattendorf, the Kirchweg leads to the turning point at the tourist information office. Along the foot and cycle path, you return along Lake Ossiach back to the starting point in Annenheim.
