This running route first leads out through Harztal to Parsberg and further up to Vogelherd with its unique views and beautiful forest paths.
This intermediate running round leads up one of the two local mountains of Miesbach – the Vogelherd. First still flat to Parsberg, the path soon becomes steeper and more demanding up to Vogelherd with wonderful views in all directions. The return route proceeds over the long stretched ridge of Vogelherd on beautifully runnable paths and then back through the town to the starting point.
The route is just over 9 km long and almost 200 meters in altitude gain, intermediate difficulty, and suitable for good to very good runners.

Roadbook
After starting at the Waitzinger Keller, we run down Schlierseer Straße to the Old City Pharmacy. Here we follow the sign sharply to the right and continue along narrow paths along the Salzweg and through the Riviera. The B472 is crossed underneath and then we continue straight ahead along Harztalstraße. At the end, the street turns into a forest path, which we continue to follow straight ahead, first through the forest, soon into open terrain until Parsberg. There we turn left into Rhonbergweg until Miesbacher Straße, which we follow left on the foot and bike path. Soon the street "Am Geiger" branches off to the right, which we now follow and which ascends slightly. We leave Schweinthal and turn right at the next farms, where the small street leads us further uphill in the direction of Vogelherd. Shortly after some viewpoints, we leave the street to the left onto a narrow hiking trail, which we continue uphill all the way to the summit of Vogelherd. We continue to follow the path along the ridge – first through the forest, soon again in open terrain and to the B472. There we turn left and follow the now wider footpath to some farms. Here it goes right down again via some stairs and steps towards Miesbach. On Schießstatt- and Miesingstraße we reach Münchner Straße, which we follow leftwards into town to the city square. From there we turn left back to the start at Waitzinger Keller.
