This easy to moderately difficult route starts at the Hotel Hof Krähenberg on the outskirts of Grömitz. After a short section into the village, you quickly reach quiet paths out into the open fields. The route leads along roads with little traffic and wide field paths through the gently undulating landscape, past meadows and small copses. It crosses the old Trift in the direction of Nienhagen. From there, the trail continues to Karlsruh, a small hamlet surrounded by fields.
As the way back leads through open countryside again, the view over Grömitz and the Baltic Sea gradually opens up - a beautiful panorama for the last few kilometers, especially when visibility is good.
