Trailrunning Alpendorf - Liechtensteinklamm - Schwarzach
Wonderful circular jogging route through the forest and along the Salzach
This running route is very varied: the first part is a beautiful forest path. It goes down about 150 meters in altitude—perfect for warming up. After the Liechtensteinklamm comes the first climb. The path is a narrow forest trail. Once at the top, you have a beautiful view over St. Johann all the way to the Tennengebirge. Then you run on a little-used asphalt road through "St. Veit Schattseite" and arrive in Schwarzach. On the way back, go along the Salzach path and then through the forest back up to Alpendorf.
Author’s recommendation
The last climb is quite challenging. So save energy for the last 10 minutes of running.
Do your stretches behind the hotel. There you have a fantastic view :-)
