A highlight of the route is the view in the southern part towards the chapel on the Frauenbergl near Sufferloh – a magical power spot in the region.

Tips and suggestions
The Holzkirchen running park is a joint product of the market town of Holzkirchen and RSLC Holzkirchen. On 10 signposted loops, you can discover and experience Holzkirchen’s surroundings perfectly from a running perspective. Starting points with overview boards can be found at the BaTuSa leisure pool and at Holzkirchen station (east side).Roadbook
We start at the BaTuSa leisure pool and follow Baumgartenstraße southwest. Just behind the primary and secondary school, we turn left onto Holzstraße; after this, we cross Tölzer Straße and continue south along Hischbergstraße. At the first intersection, we keep left and follow Setzbergstraße, which leads us to Wallbergstraße and finally to the cemetery on Thanner Straße. On the footpath, we continue running south along Thanner Straße on a long straight stretch into the village of Thann, characterized by horse farms, where we turn right. Passing the village pond, we turn left again immediately and follow a small road heading south. From here, wonderful views of the Frauenbergerl chapel in the neighboring village of Sufferloh open up. We turn left and master a small ascent onto a moraine hill. On the other side, we descend again and follow the path north along the railway line. The path ultimately leads us back to Thann, where we return along the familiar running route back to BaTuSa.
