Follow the well-laid forest path which begins just behind the S. Cristina parish church. A short while later you come to the Festil farm, from where you can see one of Val Gardena’s most important sights – the St. Jacob church. The last ascent to the church is a real challenge, but the stunning view from there more than compensates for the exertion. Arriving at St. Jacob church, we turn and run back the same way to S. Cristina.

You can reach S. Cristina by bus line 350/352. Get off at the busstop Municipio/Rathaus in S. Cristina and walk 10 minutes to the church. Starting from the church square in S. Cristina, follow the signs.Directions
The round trip starts at the Church Square. At the fountain, follow the uphill path past the Hotel Uridl and follow the Paul street untli you reach the district Pilon. The closest bus stop Municipio is located at about a 10-minute walk from the starting point.
