From the BaTuSa leisure pool, the Marktlauf round leads out of Holzkirchen in a southwestern direction. At the first (asphalted) farm track, we keep right and run into the Barbaraholz forest. At the edge of the clearing around the hamlet of Baumgarten, we cross the state road and continue the path through the forest towards the settlement of Buch. We pass through Buch and continue along the road to Kleinhartpenning, in the center of the village we keep left and leave the village again via Marktfeldweg. Here begins the ascent on the Kleinhartpenning moraine. Once climbed, we continue the round to a crossroads in Sommerau, where we turn left and run northwards through the forest. South of Baumgarten we reach the known route, turn right and run back through the Barbaraholz forest to BaTuSa.
