The bank of the Kander, the beautiful meadows and farmhouses, as well as the detour to the Kienseeli, make this short trail in Reichenbach so attractive.
First it goes upstream, then with the current: this Reichenbach trail mostly moves on the valley floor and shows the beauty of the Kander and the alpine mountain landscape on both banks. On the way back, the picturesque Kienseeli proves that calm waters also have their charm. At the final sprint, centuries-old buildings line the path: the last part of the round runs on the Reichenbach houses path.

Safety information
The more extreme the conditions, the more important the equipment. Longer routes in the mountains require, for example, weatherproof clothing and a small running backpack with provisions.
Roadbook
Against the current, but with lots of energy: after the practical start right at Reichenbach station, this route first runs upstream along the Kander. Trail runners reach the other bank at the "Waggelibrücke", then turn left again back towards Reichenbach. At the idyllic Kienseeli, the water may be still, but runners keep moving to the right. The path leads to Kien, where the scenery becomes increasingly historic: the trail follows the magnificent Reichenbach houses path along small streets back to the starting point.
