Start the route at the Bad Traunstein recreation center, which has public restrooms and, in summer, showers as well. The swimming pond, tennis court, beach volleyball court, and children's playground complete the offer and provide a pleasant change in summer. The path leads northwards along a field path out of Bad Traunstein, following the trails. The route leads towards Spielberg, which you basically just pass by. However, it is also recommended to make a detour to the local inns. In Spielberg there is the Teuschl inn & the Fichtinger inn. The route runs over the fields and meadows behind Spielberg, makes a loop there, and then returns back towards Bad Traunstein. Via Walterschlag the route then moderately ascends back to the starting point. By then a cooling off in the swimming pond or an ice cream from Cafe Bachl at the marketplace is well deserved.
