On this route you enjoy the magnificent forest landscape around the Forstsee
You enjoy the indescribable forest landscape on the longer, demanding, hilly Engstler Forstsee route. From the viewpoint, take the ascending path up, cross the street, continue on soft forest ground, briefly on the road and back into the forest (connection from Velden) around the Forstsee. At 5.7 km there is a short path (5 minutes) to the viewing terrace with a fantastic panoramic view. Past the Römerstein with a concluding steep ascent back to the start.
The Forstsee is a popular nude bathing spot during the summer months!
