From the starting point at the Stone Oak parking lot in Roth, the route leads to Gartenstraße. Passing the premises of the company Nüssli, the route continues to the canal bank and the Speck Pumps operating site. Along the canal, it initially heads south to just before the Hilpoltstein lock, the first turnaround point. The second turnaround point is near the Schwanstetten lock, before returning from the canal bank back to Roth.
There, the route leads to Kugelbühlplatz, then between the town hall and church to Marktplatz. Straight across Marktplatz. Shortly after Willy Supf-Platz, the turnoff follows into Sandgasse.
From there, it goes straight until the end of the street, where the Rednitz is crossed and finally the sewage treatment plant is reached. From there, the route follows the road to Büchenbach. Via the school center, it goes straight to Rathausplatz, where directly in front of the town hall the second turnaround point awaits in the form of the atmospheric pond loop. From here, it returns on the same route to Roth and the finish at Festplatz.
