The Goitzschesee circuit run takes place every year in June and is characterized by its nature-connected scenery along the Goitzschesee.

The run takes place in a family atmosphere where everyone in the club lends a hand.

From homemade cakes, grilled sausages and steaks to well-deserved freshly tapped beer, the athlete and their relatives will find all kinds of delicacies.

After the runs, an award ceremony with overall and age group rankings follows.

Each participant also automatically takes part in a raffle immediately afterwards with their start number.

    Author’s recommendation

Those who dare to enter the water in June will find a sandy beach directly at the stadium inviting them to relax.

The 25 km landscape run leads on an asphalted circular path once around the Great Goitzschesee.

Passing the gauge tower and the Red Tower of Pouch, men and women run through the landscape following the opencast mine succession. The Goitzsche landscape park forms the finale before the finish at sunset in the Fritz-Heinrich Stadium is reached.

The 10 km run is identical to the main run up to a turning point at the Mühlbeck holiday home complex and then leads back to the finish at the Fritz-Heinrich Stadium.

Both runs start together. A raffle takes place after the award ceremony.
