This demanding running route starts and ends in Marzoll. It leads through the protected landscape areas on the Tumpen and the Kirchholz to Bayerisch Gmain. From there, you reach the Luitpold Bridge, where the Saalach is crossed. Then it continues towards the Bad Reichenhall districts Kirchberg and Karlstein. The now quiet running route follows along the Seebach / Hosewaschbach through the Nonner Au to the Strailachweg. Here, the physical effort can be combined with beautiful impressions of nature. Over the Staufen footbridge to Staufen bridge, runners cross the Saalach again and continue the running loop in the Marzoller Au. From there, it goes over the district Türk back to the starting point Marzoll.

Our Bad Reichenhall half marathon begins at Grenzlandstraße/corner of Römerstraße in Marzoll. From there, we follow a trail that runs west of the castle towards Weißbach. First, it goes along the edge of the field before we continue our run through the forest. We pass the Weißbach district slightly above, cross Tumpenstraße and run further through the Kirchholz towards Bad Reichenhall. At Steilhofweg, we leave the forest and turn right. Steilhofweg turns into the street "Am Hessing" and then becomes Bichlstraße, which leads us to Berchtesgadener Straße. Here we go under the street and the railway tracks and then follow Wappachweg to the right. Then it goes over the Flotten Bach and through the Stadtkanzelwald to the banks of the Saalach. There, we turn right and run to Bad Reichenhall-Kirchberg station. Now we cross the Saalach to the left and follow Thumseestraße into the Kirchberg district. A bridge takes us over a side arm of the Saalach; behind it, we keep left and jog on the street "Am Kraftwerk" to the end. Here, we turn right, run through the forest below Bürgermeisterhöhe and come back to Thumseestraße in a right curve, which we follow a few meters to the right before turning left onto Staufenstraße, which takes us through the Karlstein district and finally turns into Schönauer Weg. Now, we jog through the fields to Nonner Straße. Here we turn right for a few meters before continuing left and running into the forest. We now follow the course of Hoswaschbach until it flows into the Saalach. Then we pass a campsite into Strailachweg, which takes us to a bridge. Here we cross the Saalach and turn left on the other bank. On the dam path, we run through Marzoller Au, soon turn right, cross Reichenhaller Straße and come via a field path to Unterbergstraße. There we turn left and run to Römerstraße, which takes us left back to the starting point.
