Always up for a new challenge? After 10 kilometers come 10 miles! Garnished with some elevation, the demanding 10-mile route from Holzkirchen leads over field and meadow paths up to the Asberg near Großhartpenning. Very scenic and offering great views.

Tips and suggestions
The Holzkirchen running park is a joint product of the market town of Holzkirchen and RSLC-Holzkirchen. On 10 signposted laps, the surroundings of Holzkirchen can be very well discovered and experienced from the running perspective. Starting points with overview boards can be found at the BaTuSa leisure pool and at Holzkirchen station (east side).Roadbook
Like the shorter market run route, the 10-mile route also starts at BaTuSa in Holzkirchen. We follow Baumgartenstraße to the turnoff to Barabaraholz and continue up to shortly before Baumgarten. Along the clearing around Baumgarten, the route continues to Buch and from Buch further to Kleinhartpenning. In Kleinhartpenning we turn left into Marktfeldweg and follow it uphill over the Kleinhartpenning moraine. South of Sommerau we keep right and run southwards towards Großhartpenning. Just before the village we turn left and follow a paved lane to the road connecting Klein- and Großhartpenning. At a farmstead, we turn left and run uphill on the village street. At the top at Kirchberg chapel, we turn right to Asberg. Over the scenic moraine ridge, it goes westwards and after the namesake hamlet northwards on Asberger Straße back to Kleinhartpenning. Again we turn into Marktfeldweg and this time keep left on the moraine so that we cross Sommerau northwards. Shortly before Baumgarten, we reach the already run route and follow it staying to the right through Barabaraholz. Soon we reach Baumgartenstraße again and with it the urban area of Holzkirchen. The lap ends after the official 10 miles at BaTuSa.
