Gigatrail Inline Route

Equipped with inlines, you set off on the route from the Olten swimming pool via Gheid towards Kleinwangen. From Chrüzmatt, the route runs dynamically along Müllermatt to Kappel and Hägendorf. Then you pass Bodenmatt, past Hägendorf station and along the railway line to the industrial area of Härkingen. In Härkingen, the route passes the golf driving range and continues (mostly) on side roads via Neuendorf, Niederbuchsiten and Kestenholz. About half of the route is reached at Kestenholz. 

From Kestenholz, the route runs on the main road. With great momentum, you gather speed for the following climb to Wolfwil. After the rise in Kestenholz, you skate dynamically on to Wolfwil and over the Höchi to Fulenbach. Through forests and neighborhoods, the route leads you through the Fulenbach forest to Boningen. Between the south side of Born and the Aare, you zoom past notable points on the route, such as the Ruppoldingen power plant and the historic town of Aarburg. However, just before Aarburg, the route turns left, away from the main road, along the Aare back to the starting point Olten. The path along the Aare between Boningen and Olten is highly appreciated by passionate inline skaters.
