Bodensee Skate (Rorschach – Romanshorn)
Starting from Rorschach, this route leads through popular local recreation areas and typical Thurgau fruit-growing regions in upper Thurgau. On beautiful, sunny days and with a bit of föhn wind helping, the magnificent view of Säntis and Alpstein is visible. From Horn, the scenically attractive stage also runs mostly on the original course of slowUp Bodensee, the car-free experience day in late summer. Otherwise, on weekends, motorized recreational traffic and cyclists must be expected.
Thanks to its scenic appeal and the cozy rural infrastructure with many rustic taverns and direct sellers of agricultural products, the partially less optimal surface is almost secondary. Not for racers: this section of the Bodensee Skate belongs to the leisurely, pleasant routes that naturally slow down the pace.
