The beautiful and child-friendly designed circular route at the foot of the Wendelstein leads out of the town center and over numerous attractions from the observation tower, a themed trail via an adventure playground to a place to eat and past the spectacular waterfall back to the starting point. A very worthwhile route for the whole family! The Wendelstein Männlein Path is NOT accessible with strollers and contains some more demanding sections.

From the train station, we hike to the spa park. There stands a first life-sized Wendelstein Männlein at the start and end point of the path. Now it goes upstream along the brook. You can also reach the brook bed via a natural stone staircase. From the Bergfeld Kneipp facility, it always goes uphill to the Parapluie. After a hearty snack at the observation tower, the route continues along the deadwood trail, where you can learn a lot of interesting facts about the forest, its inhabitants, and the significance of dead trees. A small ascent awaits along with the reward of the adventure playground at the Grüne Gumpe. Now it goes up the last ascent and after 20 minutes you reach the Bergcafé Siglhof in Hochkreuth. On the way back, you follow the Männlein through a snow heath-pine forest. Almost back in Bayrischzell, the path leads up numerous steps again. The effort is worth it, however, because at the top you cross the spectacular waterfall at an airy height. Afterwards, you follow the last descent down to the spa park.
The Wendelstein Männlein Path is NOT accessible with strollers and contains some sections that are more demanding.
