You can travel comfortably by train to the Greifenburg station. From there, the idyllic Mautmeile trail—with its sculptures, works of art, and cozy rest areas—leads you up to the historic Mauthäusl.

After a leisurely barbecue break, the trail continues past Greifenburg Castle to the swimming lake. You can also dispose of your barbecue waste in an environmentally friendly way here.

Afterward, you’ll reach the Greifenburg train station in about a 10-minute walk and begin your relaxed journey home.
