As an extension of the Austria & Italia route, the Austria, Slovenia, and Italia routes, the two Italian pilgrimage sites can be easily reached from Bivacco Senza Confini (1,320 m) via the forest road.

Due to the different responsibilities (Austria/Italy), the signposting is found in varying quality and design. The trail quality is generally very good. A photo ID must be carried for crossing the border.

The Dreiländereck cable cars offer summer cable car operation until the end of October 2025.

Alternatively, you can reach Bivacco Senza Confini with the Austria & Italia route, the Austria, Slovenia, and Italia routes. From Bivacco Senza Confini (1,319 m, unstaffed), a path (path no. 522) - which later joins a forest road - leads slightly downhill through the forest. Keeping left at the first forest road fork, you reach a fountain and then, keeping right through forest and alpine meadows, you get to the Chapel Madonna della Neve (1,275 m).
Return by the known path to the fountain. Then turn right and take the forest road slightly uphill to Madonna del Monte Coppa (1,305 m). Continue briefly on the forest road. At the next right turn, take the left path that leads through the forest back to Bivacco Senza Confini.

Arnoldstein and Seltschach are reachable at regular intervals by public transport.
Directions
Take the A2 or B83 or B111 towards Arnoldstein. At the western edge of the town, an asphalt road branches off to the valley station of the ski and hiking area Dreiländereck (Seltschach).

At the valley station of the Dreiländereck cable cars, sufficient parking facilities are available.
