From the historic centre of Ponte di Legno (1,260 m), near the tourist office, go up Bulferi Street to the chapel of the Buon Consiglio. Keep to the right and take the road to Villa Dalegno. After the church of S. Martino, continue to the right until you reach the highest point of the village. After the last houses and the Eden Hotel in Santella di Roncal, follow the road to the right for about 2 km without leaving it. At the first hairpin bend at the end of the path, continue straight on. A fantastic view awaits you here: sometimes it goes up, sometimes down. Via Zoanno you reach Precasaglio. After crossing Via S. Rocco and passing the Albergo Frigidolfo, leave the main road and turn right along a narrow mule track that leads to the main road of Gavia (near the Ristorante Al Mulino).
