VisitDenmark
The Fjordmino is a hiking route of about 59 kilometers that leads around the Horsens Fjord through varied landscapes.
The route includes an island hopping via ferry with visits to the two islands Alrø and Hjarnø, which lie in the middle of the fjord. The ferry crossing between Alrø and Hjarnø with the small bicycle ferry is an iconic image on the hiking route. The Fjordmino is very versatile and leads along the coast, through forests, rolling fields, small idyllic villages and harbor towns, islands – and last but not least through the main town Horsens, which is located at the end of the fjord.
Since the route includes the ferry rides to the islands, it is shown here as three kilometers longer. However, the official route is only 59 kilometers long.
