Mountains, streams, wow!
Experience nature for big and small children
For families with children—regardless of age—the area around Kreuth is a true adventure playground. There are countless opportunities to experience nature together. And this is independent of the season: outdoor family holidays work here from January to December. In spring, summer, and autumn, the range of possible activities includes classic hiking with natural swimming spots, strenuous summit routes with cozy hut overnight stays, up to demanding climbing or mountain biking. And in winter, everything is possible—from leisurely winter hiking to exciting snowshoe tours and sporty cross-country skiing rounds, to the supposed "king’s discipline" – ski touring. And all of it is uniquely beautiful…
Here we present our interesting family routes:
The Kreuth Waterfall Path offers beautiful views of the village of Kreuth and leads over the district of Enterfels back to the starting point.

Roadbook
From the starting point, we first walk towards the church and immediately turn right at the school into Pfarrweg (Waterfall Path). Above Kirchenfeld, we have beautiful views of the village of Kreuth and the St. Leonhard church. Via Felserweg in the district of Enterfels, we go to Dr.-Wilhelm-May-Strasse. We cross the federal road, cross the Weißach on the Felser footbridge, and turn left along the Weißach back to the starting point.
Variant with the district of Riedlern and the spa park:
After the Felser footbridge, we keep to the right and walk along the Weißach until shortly before the Raineralm bridge. There we turn left onto the forest road and follow it for a short distance before going right, uphill past the chapel to Riedlern. Over beautiful meadows, we now go to Jacklweg and through the spa park back to the starting point.
Additional 1.5 km and 30 minutes.
