Adventure path "How does water live?"
We park at the Sportlertreff and follow the path to the indoor swimming pool. There we go up the stairs, cross the schoolyard to the street. We cross it and turn left into Lerchenweg. We follow this to the fork, turn left and continue along the edge of the forest to the "Regentor". From here we go up to the highest point of the path to the "Cold Water Storage". There we follow a left path laid with wood chips through the dense spruce forest. We pass the "Deep Well Listener", the "Fountain Room" and the "Little Arbach". From here the path leads back into the Marbental, a small serpentine down to the stream, past the indoor pool aqualino to the end of the path, the station "Tanni's Shower".
Accompanying this path, there is an audiobook as well as a small book and other souvenirs that can be purchased at the Tourist Information.
The path was designed so that people with visual impairments and blind persons (with a companion) can explore it. You can borrow an electronic Scout at the Tourist Information for this purpose.

The start begins at the Sportlertreff parking lot at the entrance sign. The path leads us past the play barn to the indoor pool, where the first panel on the topic "What happens when there is no water" is located. Now we go up the stairs to the schoolyard. There is a large wooden memory game that shows the different types of clouds. There is also the first opportunity here to take a short break on the "Cloud Viewer". From here we cross the street to Lerchenweg. A few meters further is the second panel, which shows life in the orchard meadow when no water is available. Before the Regentor, there are two more panels on the topic "What happens when there is no water".
Now the quiz begins: At station 1, the "Regentor", we have a magnificent view of Marbental and the surrounding spruce forests. We continue past station 1a, a panel with lots of information on the topic of "Water cycle" up to the highest point of the path, station 2 "Cold Water Storage". From here, a path laid with wood chips winds left through the dense spruce forest with a beautifully mossy forest floor. Crossing a forest road, we shortly reach station 3, the "Deep Well Listener" with two water murmuring listening loungers – a good opportunity for a short rest. We continue through the forest, passing the idyllic "Dark Lake" to station 4, the "Fountain Room", where the crystal-clear spring water rushes into the fountain trough. We continue to station 5, "Little Arbach". Here we can measure the flow rate of the water with the water speedometer and track down the microorganisms in the water. The path leads from here back into Marbental with a wonderful view of the Swabian Alb. After about 600 m, station 6, the "Underground Water Crossing" by water master Pele is reached. Small serpentines lead down to station 7 in the "Valley of the Five Lakes". Along the stream, we walk past the indoor pool aqualino to the end of the path, station 8, "Tanni's Shower".
