This quite extensive round route in the catchment area of the largest Allgäu pre-Alpine lake starts with the "Dragon Gorge" near Roßhaupten, reaches its terrain-related peak at Zwieselberg, and leads through the field-meadow landscape of the foreland towards Rieden and the Forggensee. A few steps from the Tiefental parking lot towards the campsite, the access to the Dragon Gorge begins: first a short descent, then down into the ravine, which is crossed. Slightly higher, you reach a forest road, pass the spring called "Drachenbrünnle," and continue on a trail to Kalvarienberg and the Maria Steinach chapel, approx. 850 m. There sharply left and to a parking lot by the road, where the continuation to Zwieselberg is indicated. Mark Zahel
