From Prenn via Hochwies and Gompm Alm to Mahd-Alm in the Hirzer area
Take the Hirzer cable car to the Prenn middle station (1,404 m), from there head towards Hochwies (beautiful panoramic view) and along a forest road, trail no. 4, to the Gompm Alm. Continue along the trail until you reach the Mahd-Alm in the Hirzer area. Then follow the E5 to the Hirzer Hütte and on trail no. 40 to Klammeben. Take trail no. 8 down to Hochwies and back to the starting point.
