The stream over the Zuchen Waterfall flows only during snowmelt or after heavy rainfall, then the channel that has carved the water into the rock is a thin, long jet. However, the rock formation is impressive at any time of the year. The last section of the path has almost the character of an easy climb.

Places to eat: Guesthouses at Pressegger See and Schluga Seecamping site;Roadbook
From the Alpe-Adria-Hotel we head towards the railway line or from the station towards the east, cross the railway heading north and stay on path No. 16. Through the forest we walk past a spring – fountain – above the Schluga Seecamping site towards NE. We reach hiking trail No. 53 and on this after about 20 minutes over very rough terrain the interesting rock formation of the Zuchen Waterfall, which only carries water during snowmelt or heavy rainfall.
The return route is the same as the ascent.
