Zscheiplitz

In Zscheiplitz at the parking lot by the road to the viewpoint, follow the Geological Path around the village. Past the monastery church, you reach a former quarry. Information boards provide insight into the geology and history. A visit to the church is worthwhile; in the entrance hall there is information about viticulture and the flora and fauna of the area. When the Geological Path leads back to the village, keep left and follow the blue bar sign to the entrance of Weischütz. Cross the road and on the other side follow the yellow dot into the vineyards and along the foot of Nüssenberg to Müncheroda. There, turn right and follow the yellow square until just before the quarry a path goes off to the right. The Sühnkreuz can be seen in a meadow, then continue downhill to the Mägdestein and over meadow into the forest. Yellow bar and blue bar markings join in, and through the vineyard area Himmelreich you can already see the destination ahead.
