Strolling through this village is a highlight of a visit to Val d'Anniviers. The car-free, narrow main alley is flanked by sun-weathered wooden houses, decorated with hundreds of bright red geraniums. Glacier wine is stored in the Burger cellar in the Tonneau de l’Evêque.

You can visit Grimentz without a guide. However, if you want to learn a bit more, it is best to join an organised walk.

The drive from Zinal to Grimentz is not difficult. Just watch out for oncoming traffic on the hairpin bend where you have to go straight to Grimentz.

Upon entering Grimentz, you can park at the post office.
