This route starts from the Yens train station. It mostly follows paved roads with little to no car traffic.
Leaving Yens, we pass a small vineyard and then head to the next village: Lavigny. It is known for its castle and esplanade as well as its hospital and neurological center. People with neurological conditions are treated there. The institution was established in 1906 thanks to a Vaudois pastor, Charles Subilia, and currently includes a school, sheltered workshops, a hospital, and accommodation facilities.
We continue our ride towards Bois Riondet. Just before it, we even encounter a gorilla resting in a cornfield! A short passage through the forest where we pass right next to the Etoy Cabin refuge.
We finish our route in the town of Saint-Prex (up to the lake) to return through the fortified town and reach the CFF station.
