A pleasant and nature-close route with the eponymous Wolfsfelsen in the Lautzkirch forest. Besides the rocks, the circular hiking trail also delights with a Kneipp basin for cooling the feet at the Schwarzweiher River, as well as dining options. In addition to families, those seeking relaxation and inexperienced hikers can enjoy an eventful day here.

The Wolfsweg is a varied but rather leisurely circular hiking trail from the rehabilitation clinic "MEDICLIN Bliestal Kliniken" through the Lautzkirch forest with its Wolfsfelsen and the hammock stations, as well as through the Schwarzweiher River valley to the Lautzkirch Pferchtal. The way back goes along the edge of the Kirkel valley to the Spitzenberg and then to the MEDICLIN. As dining options, the "Restaurant zum Pferchtal" and "Zum Alten Forsthaus" are on the route. The hiking trail partly runs along the educational trail "Ecological Backpack Trail" and shows at some stations the ecological footprint each person leaves on the world. Thus, not only is hiking an experience, but the learning factor is also emphasized here. Those who want to cool their feet a bit roughly in the middle of the tour are exactly right at the Kneipp facility on the Schwarzweiher River. So don't forget your towel.

    USAGE NOTE:

Dear hiking friends, the hiking paths also lead along natural paths through untouched nature reserves and forests. Preserving and protecting nature is an important concern for us.

We also want to point out the risks and therefore ask you to stay on the designated paths and not to enter existing rock outcrops for safety reasons. Furthermore, we point out the presence of natural forest hazards. Depending on the weather, some places on the path may be softened and slippery and thus must be traversed with particular caution. Therefore, sturdy footwear is recommended on all routes, and sure-footedness is indispensable.

The use of the hiking and premium hiking trails is at your own risk.

    MARKING AND SIGNAGE:

All quality trails are circular routes that can be walked in both directions. Therefore, signage is provided in both directions. Try walking the route the other way around to discover completely new perspectives and different viewpoints.

    Roadbook

The starting point of this route is at the parking lot of the MEDICLIN Bliestal Clinics in Blieskastel-Lautzkirchen. From there, the path leads over a part of the "Ecological Backpack Trail" to the forest meadow with the shelter hut. It continues to the Wolfsfelsen and then a longer stretch to the Schwarzweiher River with its Kneipp basin. At the "Old Forester's House," the L113 is crossed and the path leads into the residential area towards the "Restaurant zum Pferchtal." At the parking lot, turn left into the forest and continue parallel to the L113 until the route crosses the country road again. Afterwards, the route climbs the so-called Spitzenberg until it reaches the initial fork in the path, where the route returns along the same way as the outbound journey.
