Wertach-Viehweid Loop

Right at the start of the hike, the path leads steeply uphill to the "Viehweid". There, the hiker is rewarded with a panoramic view of the Alpine range to the south. It continues over green meadows to Beerberg and through a cool forest back down to Schwenden. After a short stretch on the road, we turn right to the Wertach loop. The cool water of the Wertach also offers a refreshing relief on hot days. 

Route:

The starting point is at the sports field (parking lot) of Leuterschach. From here, head south up the mountain to the "Viehweid" and continue over Beerberg to Schwenden. From there, it goes over the Wertach loop past the brewery back to the sports field.
