Walk: Rifugio Pederü to Rifugio Scotoni

From Rifugio Pederü it's a gradual ascent on good tracks through more Alpine pasture, to a collection of rifugios by the Grünsee lake. From here a much flatter section lasts around 5km, before a larger climb brings you up to the Forcella del Lago mountain pass at 2477m altitude. 

From here the descent to the small Lago di Lagazuoi is on a rather steep set of zig-zags which some people find a little uncomfortable. They are, however, perfectly safe. At the bottom of the descent, the tiny lake is a very scenic spot for a dip.

At the Lago di Lagazuoi you should leave the main AV1 route to head a short distance downhill to Rifugio Scotoni.
