The hiking trail starts directly at the hotel's own wood chip heating system. The first section goes quite steeply through the forest to the Grafenweger rocks. From here you have a wonderful view of the Drautal and the Lienz Dolomites. It continues to the Grafenweger Alm, where the hiking trail merges into a forest road. It goes slightly downhill again to the Waisacher Alm. After a cozy break at the rustic hut, we return via the same path back to the hotel. The hike is well manageable with a backpack carrier.
