Vestone - San Liberale

Start from the parking lot after the bridge over the Chiese river, near the Oratory of Vestone. A few dozen meters on the road that goes up towards Treviso Bresciano, ignoring the junction for Gorgone, we turn right onto a paved road that climbs steeply until it ends near a house where we take the path.

This was the old road to Treviso now only walkable on foot. The path ends on a dirt road that borders some houses and haylofts, we are at the locality Avie Basse.

We continue on the dirt road until we reach the locality Avie Alte where we find a fork to the left that leads to the provincial road. We ignore it by turning right uphill. The path becomes a trail that crosses the side of Gorgone along the foothills of Dosso del Gallo, becomes a dirt road again and ends on the road to Treviso near the locality Piazza delle Streghe.

We turn right along the asphalt, uphill, and in about 1 km we reach the little church of San Liberale, the end of our path.

All that remains is to visit the Forte di Valledrane (20 minutes) to complete the excursion.
