Verschneid - Langfenn - Mölten

It is autumn and Salten hikes are a must. We drive to Verschneid and above the church we continue up to Gstreinhof, where there is already a parking lot above. We start here and first take path no. 12 to Gschnoferstall. You could take path no. 12 a directly to Langfenn, but we prefer this variant as it is less frequented. Through the forest uphill we soon reach Gschnoferstall, where we arrive in about 3/4 of an hour. Now we've reached the height and stroll along path no. 7A towards Langfenn. Here you already meet more people who have this destination in mind. Beautiful larch meadows and a magnificent view of the entire Dolomites make this route in the clear autumn light one of the most beautiful autumn hikes. Hikers come to this viewpoint from all sides. We hike down to the Schermoos parking lot and now go towards Mölten to the Stattwiesen. Here we take path no. 10 towards Verschneid and soon see a natural monument, namely small but beautiful earth pyramids, which are often found in South Tyrol. The path now goes steadily up and down until we return to the starting point at Gstreinhof.
