From the parking lot at the entrance to the recreational area to the district road in the pasture. Caution is advised on the 100-meter stretch without a sidewalk until the turnoff towards Neufraunhofen. At the outskirts of Atzmannsdorf, turn right onto the field road and in Burghab turn left along the Burgholz. At the forest edge path, a detour to the medieval fortification "Burgloch" with an information board is recommended. From Haideck via Haid to the main road. Please be cautious of traffic! Turn left towards Bindlhub, via Scheidham and Ringofen back to Kleinvelden. Attention: a short stretch on the main road to the turnoff at the branch church St. Lambert to the rear entrance of the recreational area. Pass the pavilions and Monte Veldena. At the starting point, you can reward yourself with a Kneipp treatment after the hike.
The traffic regulations must be observed on all walking and hiking trails!

An overview of the hiking and walking trails in the municipality of Velden can be found at www.markt-velden.de/wandern. Information boards with a brief description of the 9 trails are located at the folk festival ground, at the Vilstal cycle path near the wagon, at the activity area in Vilsbiburger Straße, and at the Kneipp basin at the entrance to the recreational area. A brochure with a compilation of all trails as well as information about the 50 stations of the history and adventure trail can be found at the mentioned information boards in a brochure box and at the town hall.
