Start from Piazza Quattro Novembre, the road on the right (via Porta) initially leads to the path that winds gently for about twenty minutes, half an hour between meadows and a peaceful forest. We reach the end of the forest and a nice bridge over the stream, ignore it and continue left. After about ten minutes, we first find a fork to the right, which we ignore, then a three-way junction, we take the left and start to climb.
Ignore a dead-end alley to the left, ignore the turn to the right, direction lower viewpoint, and continue the climb for about twenty minutes. We reach a point where to the right there is a sign "shortcut viewpoint," we take it and shortly after we find a small path that detaches again to the right, we take that too and quickly reach an unmarked viewpoint but with an excellent view over Como. From here along the ridge we reach the summit, passing beside the fenced antennas, and quickly descend to the real upper viewpoint, with its balcony.
From here to the left we quickly reach the refreshment point present on the mountain. I kept to the right and followed a path that descends steeply into the forest, but you can also cross the refreshment point and take the comfortable mule track that descends towards the village.
Descending instead on the path I followed, the slope is steep and the path can be slippery. However, in a few minutes we return to the flat area and, in a tangle of paths, we take the straight main one that crosses the forest and quickly takes us to the above mule track. We briefly climb the mule track and take the path on the right that rises a few meters and then descends quickly but easily again into Valbasca, from here we return to the base.
