Route: Rif. Nambrone - Amola Waterfall - Malga Amola - Rif. Segantini - Black Lake - Cornisello Lakes - Malga Ploze - Canavaccia Waterfall - Rif. Nambrone
    difficult
    Distance 21.6 km
    9:52 h
    1,190 m
    1,187 m
    2,422 m
    1,355 m
The loop starts from Rif. Nambrone heading towards the Amola Waterfall and continues through woods and roads along trail 211 up to Malga Amola. Here, after crossing a waterfall, you take trail 211B (lightly used and poorly maintained) which leads towards the Amola valley up to Rif. G. Segantini. Then continue on trail 216 which, passing through Bocchetta dell'Om, first reaches Black Lake, then the upper Cornisello Lake where it becomes trail 239, and finally Malga Ploze. From here you take trail 238 (or rather the remaining path as this one is also lightly used and maintained) that descends through the woods until it intersects trail 217 which leads back to the starting point.

    Author’s recommendation

Regarding trails 211B but especially 238 after Malga Ploze, I recommend careful evaluation before and during the hike as they are often overgrown with vegetation, making it easy to momentarily lose the path and risk getting disoriented or worse. I advise choosing them only if you are fairly experienced in mountain hiking, otherwise opt for the more classic trails. Finally, it is also important to be well trained, as the distance and elevation gain, combined with the type of trails, put the body under a level of strain not to be underestimated.
