Starting from Vomperberg, the second day stage leads directly behind the guesthouse Karwendelrast to Vomperbach. For the steeper path sections, it is recommended to use hiking poles when wet. For those who have chosen to descend to Vomp, there are two options: either climb back up to the last waypoint at Vomperberg, or hike west along the village street. After passing the Derfeser gravel pit, the hike continues along the main route. Past the hydroelectric power plant, the municipality of Terfens is reached a short time later by crossing the pedestrian bridge at Fuchsegg. After a short but intense climb, the route leads via Heizingweg to Umlberg. Here, follow the panorama path, which runs directly along the forest edge. Continuing along the Jakobsweg, which passes through the picturesque Larch Valley, leads to the next information station. To reach the pilgrimage church Maria Larch and its associated healing water fountain house from here, the main route of the Tyrolean Silver Trail must be left for about 200m heading east. After returning over the short section, the path now continues southwards through the Eggenfelder. Attention is required here, as you must turn onto an inconspicuous path that first leads over a meadow along the forest edge. In the further course, Neu Terfens is passed via Mühlweg, and the Inn is crossed for the first time along Riedstraße. Next to the modern designed village square Weer, which is perfect for resting and relaxing, the information station Weer also awaits to be discovered at the end of the second day stage. Food and accommodation options can be found in the municipalities of Weer and Kolsass, which lie seamlessly next to each other.
