We start at the church parking lot in Sitters and leave the town via Schulstraße following the route of the Palatinate Hiking Trail until we reach the Hasenberg junction after 1.3 km. We follow the Palatinate Hiking Trail and its markings to the Randeck ruin (1.8 km). From there we go back a bit and at the solar park junction turn right (0.7 km), and hike on field and farm roads towards Alsenz (2.0 km). We reach the B48 and here turn left, ascending the path to a bench with a lovely view of Alsenz (1 km). From there, after another kilometer, we reach the Palatinate Hiking Trail again and follow it to the Moschellandsburg ruin (1.6 km). We descend via Hoher Stein to Obermoschel and return along the Moschel bike path, following the Moschel river and the Generationenpark back to Sitters (4.4 km).
