Three short hikes to castles and lookout mountains near Annweiler

High above Annweiler and the Queich Valley lie the castles Trifels, Anebos, and Münz on three forested hilltops. The castle trio is one of the most distinctive landscapes in the southern Palatinate Forest. The best view of them can be seen from the two lookout mountains Rehberg and Hohenberg. The three hikes lead there and to the castles.

Hohenberg (Variant 2): From the Ahlmühle parking lot on road K 2, the Hohenberg nature park circular trail and black dot on white line lead to the shelter hut Am Zollstock.
