The path runs along the popular foot and cycle path around Schliersee and is passable all year round. The start is at the Vitalwelt in Schliersee and leads to the northwest shore of the lake to the campsite; past the Rixner Alm and the boathouses of Fischhausen, it returns to the Vitalwelt in Schliersee. Along the path, 19 bilingual information boards (German and English) provide information about the flora and a lot of interesting facts.
