Collecting stamps and pins made easy:
All TraumRunden have stamp stations, one on each route.
Now you can prove that you have really hiked all TraumRunden - with 5 stamps you already get the silver TraumRunden badge and with 15 collected stamps of course the gold one, including a certificate.
And what works with a stamp pass is of course also possible digitally – with the digital hiking pin via the SummitLynx app.
Here you collect pins and earn points. Already at 120 collected goals you receive the digital silver hiking pin in recognition of your hiking enthusiasm and endurance. But why stop at silver? When another 325 points are earned, the golden pin awaits.
All information about the digital hiking pin and the TraumRunden stamp passes (ordering) at www.wanderglueck-kitzingerland.de.

Safety information
Use of hiking trails in the forest is at your own risk. (Art. 13 para. 2 sentence 1 BayWaldG or § 60 BNatSchG).
Sufficient sun protection is important, so please take sunscreen, headgear and sunglasses with you.
And for bad weather - pack rain- and windproof clothing to put on.
There is not always a place to rest or eat along the way, so please take enough water and provisions for safety.
There are insects and unfortunately also ticks; it is advisable to wear long clothing or to pack insect repellent. Also consider a booster of the FSME vaccination. The district of Kitzingen is an FSME risk area. Further information on why sufficient protection against ticks is important and how you can prepare can be found on the websites of the Robert Koch Institute (RKI).
The TraumRunden partly run on narrow forest paths and on rising terrain. The paths are therefore not suitable for strollers and rollators. We ask for your understanding.
Roadbook
The hike begins with a climb to the vineyard "Iphöfer Kalb," rewarded with a beautiful view of the town of Iphofen and its vineyards. After the first hundred meters on vineyard paths, you enter the forest to the left as if through a tree gate and hike on the Försterweg towards the "Beckahanseiche." Please note: The original oak had to be felled due to bark beetle infestation. A new tree has already been planted a few meters further. The new rest area furniture at the new tree is expected to be installed in autumn 2025.
On the way to the Speckfeld ruin you pass the "Schlossbergsattel" nature reserve and look far south over the Vogelgesangberg. After a short and steep ascent, you reach the Speckfeld ruin. From this former castle site, a 15-meter-high wall with a gate arch and three window openings, a side wall of the gate tower, remains of a castle cellar, small vault remnants, the castle well and parts of the castle moat remain preserved. This is a good place to rest.
The route continues through the Speckfeld forest and over the wooden meadows to Birklingen, the smallest district of Iphofen. In a historic former schoolhouse, the popular Gasthaus Augustiner am See invites you to rest and recharge with regional and seasonal Franconian cuisine.
After the break, the path continues along secluded forest paths, partly parallel to the Mittelwald nature experience trail, to the Mittelwald information center. The Mittelwald information pavilion at the approximately 300-year-old Bildeiche – a natural monument with a pilgrimage image – and a field chapel ("Käppele") was built as part of the LIFE+ nature conservation project "Wälder. Wiesen. Wundervoll. Wälder und Waldwiesentäler am Steigerwaldrand bei Iphofen." From mid-May to the end of October, it is open every Sunday from 2 to 4 pm. Signs at the pavilion provide information about Mittelwald and other goals and measures of the LIFE+ nature conservation project. Through the Wehrbachtal and the vineyards at Kirchberglein, you return to the starting point at Ringsbühl. Here, the Kneipp facility invites you to refresh your feet Tue. – Sun. from April to October.
The well-marked hiking trail makes the TraumRunde an interesting nature experience.
