Roadbook
The hiking trail begins at the pass on the road towards Elefthero, opposite the turnoff to the Church of Prophet Ilias. Depending on the season and vegetation, the start may be somewhat difficult to find – but once you spot the first marker, the route is clear. Initially, it is relatively flat, then it climbs increasingly steeply. The path requires surefootedness in some places.
There are some secured sections near the summit – however, these can be bypassed, and the route ended at the trail end.
The route is not recommended when wet due to the danger of slipping on the steep slope.
