From the bus station, cross Viale Italia, then turn right at the Canali stream bridge and immediately after turn left, continuing along the right bank of the Canali stream for 500m. Then turn right onto a narrow lane and continue until you reach Hotel Belvedere; here continue on Via Venezia for 100m and turn right towards Hotel Castelpietra. Follow the alley to the junction, then turn right and continue along the paved path that passes under the Church of San Marco. Slightly downhill, proceed along Via Scalette to the roundabout at Piazza San Marco, then turn left and stay on Via Fossi for 400m. Arriving at Via Delle Fonti, turn right until you reach the wooden bridge, then return to the bus station.
